Every great design starts with structure. In the design world, we call that a grid. Every great harvest starts with a single seed or a grain.
Grain to Grid was born out of my desire to connect these two worlds. Growing up around and working alongside the agriculture community, I saw a gap. Ag businesses needed branding that truly understood their roots.
The name represents taking authentic ideas straight from the field (Grain) and translating them into digital assets and strategic design (Grid). It's where agriculture meets creative design.
A Little Bit About Me
I'm Kristy! I grew up on a dairy farm outside of Brooten, MN. Growing up, I was either always outside with my animals, being my siblings' target practice (I am the youngest of six) or I was in my room drawing/creating. I graduated from North Dakota State College of Science with an Associates degree in Agriculture in 2023. This fall, I am also planning on going back to school at Ridgewater College to get a certificate in Agriculture Marketing & Communications to have an even better understanding of the marketing world.
My whole reason for starting Grain to Grid was to hopefully combine two of my passions into one.
